Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant

Location: Jenkintown, PA
Job Type: Part-Time | In Person
Pay: $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
Potential for Full-Time: Yes, based on experience, performance, and company growth

About the Position

Management SA5 is a growing property management company located in Jenkintown, PA. We are looking for a dependable and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant to join our friendly office team.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, accounting, and financial records and wants to grow with a company. The position may grow into a full-time opportunity for the right person.

What You Will Do

Enter checks, bills, invoices, deposits, and other transactions into QuickBooks
Prepare and print checks for vendors and other payments
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Enter and organize financial information
Record bank and credit card transactions
Review and enter vendor invoices
Generate invoices and monitor outstanding payments
Assist with bank and account reconciliations
Maintain organized financial records
Code expenses to the proper property or company
Work with Excel spreadsheets and basic financial reports
Assist with general accounting and office tasks as needed

What We Are Looking For

Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop is required
Previous bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience
Someone who enjoys working with numbers and accounting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Organized and dependable
Comfortable working with checks, invoices, bills, and financial records
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
Professional, trustworthy, and willing to learn

Experience working with multiple companies, properties, bank accounts, or accounting files is helpful but not required.
