Full Job Description

About AstroGen:

AstroGen is a growing generator installation and service company focused on delivering reliable backup power solutions and top-tier customer service. We specialize in residential standby generators and take pride in running an efficient, organized operation that supports both our customers and field technicians.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Service Operations Coordinator who knows how to keep a service-based business running smoothly. This is not an entry-level role—you should already be comfortable managing schedules, handling permits, coordinating jobs, and communicating with both customers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule generator installations and service calls
Communicate clearly with customers regarding appointments, updates, and timelines
Handle permitting processes from start to finish
Order materials and ensure jobs are properly prepared ahead of time
Dispatch and support technicians throughout the day
Track job progress and keep operations organized and on schedule
Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM
Assist in improving internal processes and overall efficiency

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role (service coordination, operations, or administrative support in electrical, HVAC, construction, or generator industry)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Experience managing permits, scheduling, and job coordination
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant oversight

Preferred:

Familiarity with generator products or electrical systems
Spanish-speaking ability

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
