Thomas Cuisine is seeking an experienced PM Cook to join our healthcare team at Treasure Valley Hospital. If you're a dependable cook who enjoys working independently, takes pride in preparing high-quality meals, and wants a consistent schedule with three days off every week, we'd love to meet you!

In this role, you'll prepare fresh, scratch-made meals that directly support patient healing and well-being while working alongside a supportive team committed to exceptional food and service.

What You'll Do

Prepare fresh, high-quality meals following standardized recipes and production sheets
Work independently while managing multiple priorities throughout your shift
Maintain food safety, HACCP, sanitation, cooling, labeling, and storage standards
Prepare meals that meet patient dietary restrictions and special diet requirements
Minimize waste while maximizing product quality and efficiency
Assist with food prep, cleaning, kitchen organization, and inventory management
Ensure meals are delivered on time with consistency and attention to detail

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in healthcare, institutional foodservice, or high-volume restaurants
Strong line cook and production cooking experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper cooling procedures, and food storage
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable
Experience working with patient dietary restrictions or special diets is a plus
ServSafe Certification and Food Handler Card preferred

Schedule:

Sunday – Wednesday
Wednesday – Saturday

Weekday Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekend Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

One weekend day is part of the regular schedule. Holiday coverage is limited and typically on an on-call basis.
