Full Job Description

We are seeking a Grantmaking and Membership Coordinator to join our team! This role is responsible for the execution of grant cycles and provides support to the membership of the Nonprofit Center program. This position is based in our Boise office. Position Summary

The Grantmaking and Membership Coordinator performs a wide range of administrative functions to support ICF's grantmaking and membership programs. In addition to working in concert with the Director of Impact and the Vice President of Impact to develop strategic goals, this position communicates with fundholders, and responds to inquiries related to grantmaking and membership. This position is based in our Boise office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Grant Cycles & Grantmaking (advised grants, etc.)

Provide support to the development of processes, procedures, and execution of grantmaking programs, working with relevant internal and external stakeholders (e.g., review committees/marketing and communications team, applications, applicants, etc.).
Assist in utilizing peer community foundations, sector data, and user/fundholder feedback to make strategic recommendations to leadership team (re: growing ‘brand’ of ICF’s signature grantmaking programs).
Execute due diligence procedures for grantmaking program.
Complete administrative tasks required for grantmaking such as data entry and database management.
Liaise with nonprofit applicants to answer questions or provide grant feedback, including building relationships with the nonprofit sector (e.g., hosting nonprofit coffee hours).
Communicate effectively with fundholders to advise on available distribution, etc.
Liaise with the accounting team on requests, rollovers, etc., related to grantmaking program.
Provide lead execution for special grantmaking programs.
Develop regular cadence and best practices for data collection to be used to tell ‘impact’ story of ICF as well as improve our grantmaking processes for users.
Collaborate with the Director of Impact to lead allocation meetings and/or other grantmaking allocation meetings, as needed.

Support to Fund Development Team and Key Stakeholders

Work with the Director of Impact to respond to inquiries from the Development team and provide accurate impact related information.
Provide education, onboarding, and resource sharing to keep regional council members (and other similar councils/committees) engaged in our impact work.

Nonprofit Membership Support

Work with the impact team to provide logistical and administrative support to membership initiatives of the Nonprofit Center.
Coordinate member invoices and related tasks.
Support the nonprofit helpline, particularly related to membership inquiries and Idaho Gives

Other

This position provides backstopping on scholarships and tasks in the event of staff absences and/or needs.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Bachelor’s degree in related field

More than 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in the nonprofit or foundation sector highly desired.
A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Experience with grantmaking programs, application review processes, and grants oversight.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Experience with integrated databases such as AkoyaGO is highly desirable.
Excellent accuracy and strong attention to detail with the capacity to maintain a high level of quality in work performed.
Outstanding project management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Outstanding professional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

· Employee will operate standard office equipment and may occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds.

· A hybrid work environment exists, allowing for some remote work as relevant to position.

· May occasionally travel throughout Idaho and outside the state, which requires a valid driver's license.
