PIA Select Insurance is a privately held independent insurance brokerage with a strong industry foundation dating back to 1960 and modern operational leadership since 2015.

We currently support over 250 licensed affiliates and producers nationwide, maintain 150+ carrier appointments, and operate primarily across California, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Arizona.

Our production mix is approximately:

60% Personal Lines
35% Commercial Lines

We are a true independent broker platform with full-service back-office support — allowing producers to focus on selling and meeting client needs.

Position Overview:

We are seeking licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Producers to join our affiliate network.

This opportunity is designed for experienced, licensed professionals who want:

Autonomy
Multi-state carrier access
Full operational support

What Makes This Opportunity Different:

150+ carrier appointments
Independent broker structure
Full-service back office support
Compliance and administrative infrastructure
You focus on selling and serving clients — we handle processing and support

Our back-office team assists with:

Carrier appointments and setup
Policy processing
Compliance oversight
Administrative workflows

Your primary responsibility is production and client relationship management.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage your own book of business
Prospect, quote, and bind new business
Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate coverage
Maintain ongoing service and retention
Ensure compliance with carrier and state guidelines
Maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications (Required):

Active Property & Casualty License
Ability to operate in compliance with state regulations
Prior insurance sales or producer experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated and organized

Preferred (Not Required)

Life & Health License
Existing book of business

Compensation: Commission-based compensation dependent on production.
