Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Owner Operator with the ability to haul all types of equipment, ensuring a steady and smooth income stream. This role offers the flexibility to accept various equipment types, from refrigerated trailers to flatbeds and tankers, providing a dynamic and rewarding driving opportunity. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for delivering freight efficiently across different routes while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties

Operate your own tractor-trailer to haul diverse equipment including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and more across over-the-road routes.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when applicable.
Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and ensure efficient route driving.
Load and unload cargo safely using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment when necessary, ensuring proper cargo handling for logistics safety.
Manage vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety, including checking for hazardous materials or dangerous goods if applicable.
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, and delivery documentation in compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in tractor-trailer operations across various equipment types.
Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving on over-the-road (OTR) routes.
Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or other specialized equipment is preferred.
Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for transporting dangerous goods.
Ability to manually handle cargo safely and efficiently; forklift certification is a plus.
Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution.
Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures including load & unload operations.
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
