Liquid Health Sciences, Inc. | Dallas–Fort Worth, TX | Full-Time | On-Site | Exempt
$70,000–$85,000 base + up to 10% performance compliance bonus, retirement plan, paid vacation, paid holidays, and paid sick leave
About Liquid Health Sciences
At Liquid Health Sciences, we are on a mission to create the highest-quality, best-tasting liquid vitamins the world has ever known. We believe great nutrition should taste as good as it works — so we hold every part of the business to the same high standard, right down to the books. As we grow across multiple related entities, keeping our financials accurate, reconciled, and consolidated is how we make smart decisions and keep our promises. That's where you come in.
Do you take pride in a clean, reconciled set of books?
We are looking for a hands-on, highly organized full-charge bookkeeper who can own the accounting cycle end to end across several related companies—from entering vendor bills all the way through monthly close, tax filings, and consolidated financial statements. You'll run a high volume of accounts payable, keep bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts reconciled, handle the accounting side of payroll and routine tax filings, and lead the interns and associates who support the function.
If you are the kind of person who chases down every variance until it ties out, keeps multiple entities in balance, and takes pride in a well-documented close, this role is built for you.
What you'll do
- Own accounts payable: enter and code vendor bills to the right accounts and entities, run payments, manage vendors and 1099s, and keep documentation clean.
- Handle the lighter AR side: invoicing, applying payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and—critically—intercompany transactions across related entities, resolving timing differences and out-of-balance situations before they compound.
- Run the monthly close: post to the general ledger, prepare unadjusted and adjusted trial balances, and record adjusting entries (depreciation, accruals) in coordination with the CPA.
- Prepare individual and consolidated financial statements—income statement, balance sheet, statement of equity, and statement of cash flow—and perform intercompany eliminations.
- Handle the accounting side of payroll: record payroll and payroll-tax liabilities, post journal entries, and reconcile to the payroll provider's reports.
- Prepare routine tax filings (payroll, sales/use, 1099s), support the CPA on income tax and year-end, and respond to notices from tax and government agencies.
- Maintain inventory and fixed-asset records accurately in QuickBooks.
- Organize, train, review, and supervise interns and associates supporting the bookkeeping function.
Your first 90 days
- Get fluent in our entity structure, chart of accounts, and close calendar.
- Take full ownership of the AP cycle and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Bring intercompany accounts current so they tie out cleanly across entities.
- Obtain your bookkeeping certification if you don't already hold one (we'll support you).
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or equivalent accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a multi-entity environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on intercompany reconciliation and consolidation experience.
- Extensive QuickBooks experience, including inventory and fixed-asset management.
- Associate's degree in accounting required; Bachelor's in accounting or finance strongly preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Bookkeeping certification (AIPB Certified Bookkeeper or NACPB Certified Public Bookkeeper) required, or obtained within the first 90 days of hire; QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a strong plus.
- Prior experience organizing, training, and supervising junior staff or interns.
- Familiarity with the accounting side of payroll and preparation of routine tax filings (payroll, sales/use, 1099s), plus comfort responding to agency notices.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the persistence to drive reconciliations to completion.
- Solid with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Spanish a plus.
- Committed to ongoing continuing education—we support professional development and will help you maintain your certification.
Why this role
- Real ownership. You own the books end to end across multiple entities—the person the numbers run through.
- Real leadership. Lead, train, and grow a small team, with responsibility to match as you prove yourself.
- Real impact. At a fast-growing company, accurate, timely financials drive every decision—and your work shows.
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary: $70,000–$85,000 (DFW), commensurate with experience and certification
- Up to 10% performance compliance bonus, tied to on-time monthly close, clean reconciliations, and timely, accurate tax filings
- Retirement plan
- Paid vacation, paid holidays, and paid sick leave
- Continuing education and certification support
Schedule & reporting
Full-time, on-site at our DFW location during standard business hours. This position reports to company ownership/management and coordinates closely with the external CPA.
