We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Receptionist to join our growing team.

Position Overview

As an Administrative Receptionist, you will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our patients while supporting the daily operations of our office. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude
Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules efficiently
Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage information to patients
Process patient checkouts and collect payments
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Assist with general administrative duties and support the clinical team as needed
Ensure the reception area remains organized and inviting

Qualifications

Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and office technology
Experience in a healthcare or optometry setting is a plus, but not required
