Full Job Description

We are looking for a dental assistant to round out our energetic & passionate team!

Our office is all about patient care, teamwork, and having fun. A positive and friendly personality is essential as you will play a significant role in maintaining patient relationships. Candidates should also be organized and have attention to detail.

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll enjoy state-of-the-art technology while surrounded by camaraderie and support. This is where patients come first, and continuous learning is encouraged! Hard-working and motivated, the successful candidate will bring a passion for providing the best patient care to the communities they serve.

Chair Side Assisting

Sets up operatory and/or surgery suite for planned dental procedures and cleans dental unit for timely turnover.
Passes instruments safely, accurately, and efficiently. Keeps operative field clear of debris and retracts oral tissues effectively and comfortably. Prepares dental medicaments and impression materials per manufacturer's instructions.
Accomplishes all intra-operative procedures within standard infection control protocols.
Assists in routine general dental procedures.
Assists in specialized dental procedures, such as oral and maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, implants, and surgical periodontics.

Dental Imaging

Images are characterized by diagnostic quality, accurately oriented, and exposed.
Dental imaging safety techniques are utilized, and retakes are minimized.
Imaging requests are accomplished within the desired time frame.
Knowledge and proper use of digital radiographs.

Infection Control and Equipment Sterilization

Demonstrates proper infection control procedures in setting up and cleaning up after procedures.
Instruments are prepared adequately for sterilization by SPS standards.
Instruments are prepared in a manner that does not delay clinical care.
Demonstrates proper infection control procedures in dental images.

Minimum Qualifications

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience

1+ years of experience in a dental setting required

Location

501 S. Madison Ste. P, Webb City, MO 64870

Hours

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 5 pm
One Friday a Month: 7:30 am - 3 pm
Quarterly - All company training - Friday's

Our Dental Assistant's income is based on experience with team activities like CE trips and shopping sprees.
