Stepbrothers Contracting Group is seeking an experienced, organized, proactive, and accountable Construction Superintendent to oversee luxury residential renovation, remodeling, addition, and custom home projects throughout Palm Beach County.

As a Superintendent, you will serve as the primary field leader responsible for coordinating daily construction activities, managing trade partners, maintaining schedules, documenting project progress, protecting project profitability, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every client.

What You'll Do
Project Leadership & Execution
- Manage daily field operations across assigned projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries
- Maintain project schedules and milestone deadlines
- Monitor project progress against schedule objectives
- Identify and resolve issues proactively
- Lead daily jobsite execution and coordination
- Maintain accountability among all project participants
- Protect project profitability through effective field management
You will be expected to think and act like a project owner.
Trade Partner Coordination & Accountability
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors effectively
- Verify job readiness prior to trade mobilization
- Manage sequencing and workflow between trades
- Maintain production momentum
- Enforce quality standards and expectations
- Address performance concerns proactively
- Foster strong relationships while maintaining accountability
Strong subcontractor management is one of the most important responsibilities of this role.
Quality Control & Craftsmanship
- Monitor workmanship throughout every phase of construction
- Conduct ongoing quality inspections
- Identify deficiencies before clients discover them
- Coordinate corrective actions promptly
- Maintain Stepbrothers quality standards
- Manage punch list completion
- Support project closeout activities

Schedule Management
- Maintain project schedules within Buildertrend
- Coordinate daily and weekly field activities
- Monitor critical path items
- Identify delays early
- Develop recovery plans when necessary
- Hold trade partners accountable to schedule commitments
- Communicate schedule impacts proactively
Schedule ownership is a core responsibility of this position.
Documentation & Change Order Awareness
- Document client conversations that impact project scope, schedule, or cost
- Document field decisions and project discussions
- Maintain detailed daily logs and project records
- Upload jobsite photos consistently
- Identify potential change order opportunities
- Escalate scope changes before work proceeds
- Notify project management of conditions that may impact budget or schedule
- Maintain accurate records that protect project profitability
One of the most important responsibilities of this role is helping identify scope changes and documenting project activity before issues become costly problems.
Client Communication & Experience
- Serve as the primary field representative for clients
- Maintain professional and proactive communication
- Provide project updates and status information
- Address concerns promptly and professionally
- Build trust throughout the construction process
- Help create a positive renovation experience for clients living through construction

- Complete daily logs consistently

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential construction field management experience
- Proven Superintendent experience
- Extensive luxury renovation and remodeling experience
- Experience managing occupied residential projects
- Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and client-relations skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Technology proficiency and willingness to embrace systems and processes
- Valid driver's license

- Luxury residential renovation experience
- Designer-driven project experience

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Range
$100,000 – $125,000+ annually based on experience, qualifications, and proven performance
