Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our dynamic hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing daily operations, and driving the overall success of the property. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, uphold high standards of service, and optimize financial performance. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with a passion for hospitality management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in overseeing hotel teams and budgets. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to shape memorable guest experiences while driving operational excellence.

Duties

Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth functioning.
Lead and supervise hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, expense control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
Implement and maintain hotel guest service standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences and handle guest relations issues promptly.
Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and improve operational efficiency.
Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and performance evaluations to ensure team excellence.
Monitor hotel guest services through quality assurance programs such as guest feedback surveys and night audit procedures to uphold service standards.
Develop strategies for revenue growth through marketing initiatives, special promotions, and optimizing occupancy rates.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and legal requirements across all departments.
Foster effective managerial communication across departments to promote transparency and collaborative problem-solving.

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
Proven experience supervising hospitality teams within hotel or resort environments with strong leadership skills.
Extensive knowledge of hotel management practices including revenue management, budgeting, financial operations, and human resources.
Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, multi-line phone systems, and front desk operations.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations and resolving issues efficiently.
Strong managerial communication skills to lead teams confidently while maintaining clear internal communication channels.
Experience managing hospitality operations budgets with an understanding of financial metrics such as profit & loss statements.
Knowledge of hotel guest service standards, guest relations strategies, and resort experience is advantageous.
Ability to oversee night audit procedures ensuring accurate financial reconciliation overnight operations.
Demonstrated leadership in managing hospitality operations within a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
