District Manager — The Aroma Labs

Multiple Locations (Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee)

The Aroma Labs (TAL) is an experiential fragrance retail brand redefining what it means to shop for scent. Across seven locations and growing, we guide customers through creating their own signature fragrance — and we’re looking for a District Manager to lead that experience across all of our stores.

About the Role

This is not your average multi-unit management job. As District Manager, you’ll oversee all current TAL locations, driving performance, culture, and standards across the entire footprint. You’ll be the connective tissue between our Store Leaders, Aromatenders, and the brand vision — high energy, hands-on, and deeply invested in getting it right.

This role also comes with a real growth path. As TAL continues to expand and open new locations year after year, you’ll help build out and train the next District Manager to take on new territory — with the opportunity to grow into a Regional or Head of District Managers role overseeing multiple DMs across an expanding footprint.

What You’ll Do

∙ Oversee day-to-day operations and performance across all current TAL store locations

∙ Build strong, energizing relationships with Store Leaders and Aromatenders — you’re a coach and a connector, not just an evaluator

∙ Ensure consistent execution of TAL’s Standard Operating Procedures across every location

∙ Drive sales performance and accountability at the store and district level

∙ Identify, coach, and develop future leaders — including preparing a successor District Manager as TAL expands into new markets

∙ Travel regularly between locations to provide in-person support, training, and oversight

∙ Partner with TAL leadership on rollouts, new store openings, and company initiatives

What We’re Looking For

∙ Proven, long-term experience as a District Manager or multi-unit leader overseeing multiple retail locations

∙ A track record of driving sales performance and operational excellence across a district

∙ Strong coaching and people-development skills — you build leaders, not just enforce rules

∙ High energy, high accountability, and genuine connection with frontline teams

∙ Comfort with regular travel across a multi-state footprint

∙ Someone who wants to grow with a fast-scaling brand, not just manage the status quo
