We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Vegetation Management Division Manager to take ownership of an important and growing area of our company.

This is not simply a position for someone who knows how to apply weed control products.

We are looking for someone who can inspect properties, recognize problems, develop solutions, communicate confidently with clients, lead team members, manage materials and equipment, and ensure that our vegetation management work is completed safely, efficiently, and at a high standard.

Our vegetation management services include controlling unwanted vegetation in areas such as open lots, commercial properties, parking lots, easements, landscape beds, driveways, sidewalks, fence lines, and other areas where unwanted vegetation creates appearance, maintenance, or safety concerns.

What You Will Own

As our Vegetation Management Division Manager, you will help lead the day to day operation and continued development of our vegetation management services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting regular property inspections to identify unwanted vegetation, evaluate site conditions, and determine appropriate treatment strategies
Developing and implementing effective vegetation management plans for client properties
Communicating with clients about property conditions, recommended solutions, expectations, and results
Leading, training, and developing Vegetation Management team members
Maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, safety, and client care
Coordinating vegetation management work with other myLawn! Turf & Tree services when appropriate
Monitoring treatment results and making adjustments when necessary
Managing product inventory and anticipating seasonal material needs
Ordering products and maintaining accurate inventory records
Ensuring equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, organized, and ready for use
Maintaining accurate application and property records
Following pesticide regulations, label requirements, environmental regulations, and company safety standards
Helping improve systems, processes, production efficiency, and service quality
Identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow our vegetation management services

Qualifications

Kansas Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification in Category 6 and or 7C
At least one year of experience in integrated vegetation management, weed control, pesticide application, lawn care, agriculture, or a related field
Strong knowledge of common weed species and effective vegetation management methods
Ability to evaluate properties and make sound treatment decisions
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
Understanding of pesticide safety, environmental regulations, label requirements, and industry best practices
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
