Job Overview
We are a painting company seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional phone etiquette, and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role requires effective schedule management, team management, and the ability to maintain a welcoming front desk presence.

Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Provide excellent phone etiquette while handling incoming calls and inquiries.
Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.
Supervise front desk activities, ensuring a professional atmosphere for visitors.
Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, correspondence, and document preparation.
Assist the sales team with contract administration.
Social media account management.

Requirements

Experience in the construction industry.
Proven experience in an office management or administrative role.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Social media experience.
Proficient in using office software and phone systems.
Experience using Sage software is mandatory.
Experience using Microsoft Office is mandatory.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
