Full Job Description

Outside Sales Support is a sales execution role — not an administrative one. You’ll do everything a salesperson does on the operational side: enter orders, create POs, talk to customers, coordinate with the Warehouse, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll support our Atlanta sales team and learn the business from the inside out.

This role is designed as a stepping stone to becoming an Outside Sales Representative at Benefast. We’re looking for someone who wants to build a sales career — not just fill a support seat.

Career Path: A minimum of six (6) months in this role is required before being considered for promotion to Outside Sales Representative. Promotion is earned through demonstrated performance — not handed out on a timeline.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Atlanta, GA — in-office role

Family owned business in opened in Nashville in 1993, serving commercial contractors in the Middle Tennessee, and surrounding areas. Our main target customers are large commercial drywall contractors. We are seeking individuals that possess an ability to work well with others and perform the duties listed with a high level of integrity and care. Primary Responsibilities:

Enter Sales Orders accurately in NetSuite and ensure proper SO/PO linkage
Create Purchase Orders for job-specific and non-stock items
Confirm pricing matches quotes before processing
Mark orders “Ready to Bill” as directed by the supported sales rep
Communicate proactively with customers — status updates, delivery timelines, order questions
Anticipate what the COO and Outside Sales reps need before being asked
Coordinate across Inside Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Accounting
Track open POs, follow up on inbound product, and keep orders moving through the pipeline
Work with Accounting to resolve billing discrepancies quickly
Maintain clean documentation across orders, POs, and customer communications

Expectations:

Someone who wants to build a career in Outside Sales — this is not the seat for a long-term support role
Construction supply, industrial distribution, or sales support experience preferred
NetSuite or similar ERP experience a plus
Proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to do next
Detail-oriented — you catch the pricing mismatch before it becomes a billing dispute
Strong communicator — customers, sales reps, warehouse, accounting; all different audiences, all professional
Comfortable with speed and accuracy at the same time
Coachable, curious, and willing to volunteer for new tasks and projects
Reliable — the team depends on you being there and on top of things

Requirements:

Experience in construction or contractor supplies is helpful, but not required.
No known physical limitations that would prevent sitting or standing for long periods of time, the ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds (lbs), or perform listed job duties as deemed suitable by company
Work Monday thru Friday, 6:30am - 4pm
Must be able to pass a background check
21 years old with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation to/from work
