Overview

We are a Global corporation, we dedicate our work, to the refrigeration industry, with presence in North America, and Latin America.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Coordinator to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on both corporate and non-profit accounting. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective financial management within the organization.

Duties

Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and month-end close activities.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including cash flow analysis and budget forecasting.
Support auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Mentor junior accounting staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in accounting practices.
Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and other relevant securities laws.
Utilize accounting software such as Sage or Xero for efficient financial management.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization.

Skills

Strong knowledge of corporate accounting, governmental accounting, and non-profit accounting principles.
Required the use of ERP, SAP, ORACLE.
Bilingual English and Spanish required.
Proficiency in technical accounting concepts, including accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, and debits & credits.
Experience with financial report writing and interpretation to communicate findings effectively.
Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and auditing processes.
Solid understanding of financial management concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
Ability to perform account analysis and maintain accurate records through effective bookkeeping practices.
Experience with payroll processing and financial services is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
