Job Description

As a Production Worker at AmeriTemps, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process of durable goods. This role includes operating various tools and machines, handling materials, and ensuring the high-quality production of products according to various specifications. In some cases, you may also be responsible for preparing products for shipment and ensuring they meet all quality standards.

Candidates must be proficient in using a tape measure, performing basic math operations, and handling physical tasks efficiently.

We are actively seeking multiple Production Workers to join the AmeriTemps team and provide superior service to our clients. Responsibilities for Production Worker

Operate and maintain various tools and machines used in the production process.
Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine production specifications and requirements.
Assist with the production of high-quality products by ensuring they conform to specifications.
Conduct quality control checks to detect processing defects and ensure that products comply with quality standards.
Manage material handling tasks including loading and unloading of materials and products.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications for Production Worker

High School Diploma or GED; additional training or education in manufacturing may be required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly with forklift operation, preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Proficiency in using a tape measure and performing basic mathematical calculations.
Strong mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot various tools and machines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Reliable transportation and the flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed.

Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work efficiently with various tools and machines.

Compensation

Compensation for the Production Worker position is competitive and based on the required skills, with starting hourly wages ranging from $15 to $16. Overtime pay starts at $22.50 to $24 per hour.
