Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The incumbent should provide appropriate levels of customer service to the entire facility employees, contractors, visitors and other KDOC agencies as needed. Responsible for the compilation and tracking of information associated with facility TB testing, Hepatitis vaccinations. Incumbent is responsible for maintenance and correcting issues of the EPIC Employee Directory and Picture Link. Incumbent is required to track, maintain and file a variety of policy required forms for HCF and KDOC. Provides clerical support to the HR Manager and Asst Manager as needed as well as fills in for other HR staff. Incumbent will perform a large variety of clerical duties for the HR / Legal Departments. Positions held within HR will be required to provide prompt courteous and correct answers to questions as they arise from staff and other employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Selection Process:

Applicants selected for interviews will be evaluated by an interview panel using performance/behavior-based interview questions. The interview panel will make recommendations to Warden for final approval. A second interview may be conducted. Applicants will be subject to background check and criminal history investigation; must pass a drug screen and a TB test unless promoting, transferring, or demoting from another safety sensitive position within the same agency; and possess a valid Driver’s License.
