Catering Chef — Hart’s Turkey Farm RestaurantJoin the Hart’s Team!

Hart’s Turkey Farm Restaurant is a third-generation, family-owned and operated restaurant and caterer located in the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region. For generations, we’ve built our reputation on great food, genuine hospitality, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Catering Chef to join our team and help bring Hart’s food and hospitality to weddings, celebrations, corporate events, private parties, and gatherings throughout the Lakes Region.

This is a great opportunity for a culinary professional who enjoys the energy of catering, takes pride in their food, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and execute high-quality food for a wide variety of catered events, ensuring every dish meets Hart’s standards.
Work closely with the Catering Director to plan menus, production, preparation, and execution for upcoming events.
Lead and support catering kitchen operations before, during, and after events.
Ensure food is prepared, transported, held, and served safely and efficiently.
Help organize catering production, prep lists, recipes, and timelines to ensure events run smoothly.
Monitor inventory and communicate ordering and supply needs to help maintain efficient catering operations.
Work alongside catering staff and other Hart’s team members to ensure timely, professional service.
Assist with training and mentoring catering staff on food preparation, kitchen procedures, and Hart’s standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Step in wherever needed to help the team successfully execute events, especially during busy weekends and high-volume periods.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a chef, sous chef, catering chef, or in a similar culinary leadership role.
Catering and large-volume food production experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety practices.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor in a high-energy environment.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying hours based on the catering schedule.
