Full Job Description

Abbeville General Hospital is hiring for an RN (Registered Nurse) Position:
Temporary RN position for Infusion Therapy Unit.

Position(s) avaliable:

7:30a - 4:00p - One (1) avaliable

The length of the assignment will be discussed at the time of the interview

RN (Registered Nurse) Required Experience:

Oncology nursing experience preferred

RN (Registered Nurse) Educational Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Required)
Current/Active Louisiana State Board of Nursing Licensure (Required)
Current/Active CPR certification (Required)
Current/Active ACLS (Preferred)
Current/Active ONS chemotherapy certification (Preferred)

RN (Registered Nurse) Physical Requirements:

Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis
May be required to assist in the turning, lifting, or moving patients as well as walking about from patients’ rooms, as well as to and from various hospital areas
