Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish/English. highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic CPA & finance team. In this vital role, you will oversee comprehensive bookkeeping functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various financial activities. Your expertise will support the organization’s financial health by managing complex accounting processes, preparing detailed financial reports, and maintaining precise records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your extensive accounting knowledge in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence and integrity.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance using advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks online,
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to verify cash balances and identify discrepancies promptly.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit & loss statements, budgets, and other financial statements for internal review and external reporting.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis.
Skills
Extensive experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks online and accounting principles.
Proven expertise in balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping practices along with journal entry preparation.
Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation for accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and tax-related activities.
Excellent skills in financial report writing with attention to accuracy and clarity.
Familiarity with 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry; experience with financial software integration is preferred.
Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments on budgetary planning or financial analysis initiatives.
