Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Business Development Coordinator (Outbound Client Outreach) is primarily an outbound phone-calling role, working directly with and supporting the VP of Business Development. Using company-provided target lists and outreach campaigns, this role is responsible for making outbound calls, qualifying prospects, generating leads, nurturing relationships through follow-up, and scheduling meetings for company leadership. Email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, CRM management, and event follow-up support the calling effort but do not replace it.

Key Responsibilities

· Make outbound cold calls every day — this is the primary responsibility of the role,not a secondary task alongside other marketing duties.

· Call targeted prospect lists Arqova has already built, including property managers, commercial real estate firms, brokers, general contractors, and facility managers, to introduce Arqova and qualify interest.

· Hit and sustain a daily calling quota (dials, live conversations, and talk time — targets set with leadership) and log every call outcome in the CRM the same day.

· Schedule qualified meetings for company leadership through consistent calling and follow-up — phone-booked meetings are the primary success metric for this role.

· Handle objections and gatekeepers on live calls, and re-call prospects on a structured cadence rather than dropping them after one attempt.

· Use email sequences and LinkedIn outreach to warm up prospects ahead of calls and follow up after them — these channels support the calling effort, they do not substitute for it.

· Maintain and expand prospect databases by researching companies and identifying key decision-makers and direct phone lines.

· Manage CRM records, call outcomes, pipeline updates, and weekly call-activity reporting.

· Support marketing initiatives including trade association events, networking opportunities, and follow-up calls to new contacts made there.

· Coordinate marketing materials, presentations, and proposals needed to support calls and booked meetings.

· Collaborate with leadership to prioritize which accounts to call first and refine call scripts/talk tracks by vertical.

· Work directly with and provide day-to-day calling and pipeline support to the VP of Business Development, including preparing call lists, briefing materials, and status updates ahead of the VP's own prospect and client meetings.

Qualifications

· Proven track record of high-volume outbound cold calling (inside sales, telemarketing, SDR/BDR, or outbound marketing) — required, not preferred.

· 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, business development support, sales support, or outbound marketing.

· Comfortable cold-calling strangers, handling objections and gatekeepers, and staying on the phone for the majority of the workday without discomfort or avoidance.

· Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills — this role is judged on live conversations, not just written outreach.

· Experience using CRM and dialer/marketing automation platforms to log calls and manage follow-up.

· Highly organized with excellent project coordination and follow-through.

· Experience in commercial construction, commercial real estate, facilities management, or B2B services is a plus.

Success Measures

Success in this role is measured first by daily call volume, live talk time, and qualified meetings booked from calling activity — with campaign execution, CRM accuracy, database growth, and overall pipeline contribution as secondary measures.
