Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead a family bowling entertainment business with energy and confidence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily business functions, drive sales growth, and foster a fun environment. Your leadership will ensure exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and a positive bowling experience for all. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of the business and inspiring your team to achieve their best.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of business operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service standards.
Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a motivated and high-performing retail sales team.
Oversee employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, policies, and procedures.
Manage payroll, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate financial records.
Supervise inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize profitability.
Implement effective marketing strategies to attract customers and increase store visibility within the community.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and operational procedures while fostering a positive work environment through strong managerial communication.
Have an effective and collaborative relationship with the Board of Directions.

Skills

Proven management experience in family oriented business or related industries with strong leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication skills coupled with effective employee orientation and training abilities.
Effective interpersonal skills to interact with customers and local business leaders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities such as scheduling shifts, supervising staff, and overseeing daily operations.
Exceptional communication skills for team management, customer interactions, and managerial reporting.
Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales analysis, budgeting, and operational managemen.
