About Bohan Custom Remodeling & Build

Bohan Custom Remodeling & Build is a respected name in Annapolis, MD, known for high-end, custom remodeling and new construction. We've built our reputation on craftsmanship, unique and varied projects, and strong community ties, including local charity work and historic preservation. Most of our business comes from referrals, a direct result of the trust we build with every client.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior-level Project Manager to manage and oversee our most complex projects, whether high-end residential renovations or custom builds; every project offers unique opportunities. You'll manage projects from preconstruction through completion, owning budgets, schedules, finish details, trade partner relationships, and client communications, while coordinating and mentoring your team to uphold the standard of craftsmanship and client experience Bohan is known for, and confidently managing a direct report.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role based out of our corporate office in Eastport, Annapolis, MD. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance and be able to work from the office five days a week. We welcome applications from those willing to relocate to Maryland. However, this role does not include relocation assistance.

What You'll Do

Review complete project scope with Estimating/Sales and Preconstruction/Design teams before work begins.
Conduct regular job site visits to confirm adherence to the contract, plans, budget, design, and quality standards.
Provide clients with detailed daily progress summaries, including documentation, notes, and photos.
Schedule and coordinate required county and city inspections
Build and maintain project schedules, proactively communicating changes to clients and team members
Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving customer concerns professionally and effectively
Capture and track all change orders and extra work requests accurately from concept to execution
Prepare and complete punch lists ahead of final client walkthroughs
Secure project completion certificates
Mentor and support team members, including other project managers, by ensuring the thorough capture, documentation, communication, and execution of all project details
Develop and manage relationships with trade partners, overseeing their performance on-site
Own job site safety, cleanliness, security, and protection of work in progress
Ability to manage a direct report

What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience managing high-end, custom residential remodeling projects directly for homeowners. Please note that experience in house flipping, multi-family construction, ground-up new construction, restoration, or investment property updates does not qualify for this position.
Strong working knowledge of whole-house remodeling scopes directly for homeowners
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop other project managers
A track record of managing project quality, schedule, budget, and changes to scope simultaneously
Strong customer service instincts and a proven ability to resolve complaints professionally
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, detailed documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, including spreadsheets
Experience with BuilderTrend or comparable project management software
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Desire to help develop upcoming talent
Valid driver's license and vehicle for full-time use

Compensation

Base salary: $100,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience
Annual bonus based on company profitability

Monthly Allowances

$750/month vehicle and fuel allowance
$40/month toward personal cell phone
