Full Job Description

Currie Motors Ford of Frankfort is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our award-winning Service Department. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are looking for a career with excellent earning potential, we'd love to meet you.

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the primary point of contact between our customers and our service technicians. You'll build relationships with customers, recommend maintenance and repair services, keep customers informed throughout the repair process, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional dealership experience.

About Currie Motors Ford of Frankfort

Currie Motors Ford of Frankfort is a family-owned and operated dealership serving Chicagoland for over 35 years. Our Service Department is one of the busiest in the area, providing our advisors with a steady flow of customers and tremendous earning opportunities. Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally.
Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document repair requests.
Inspect vehicles with customers when appropriate.
Recommend maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition.
Prepare accurate repair estimates and explain recommended services.
Communicate with technicians throughout the repair process.
Keep customers informed with timely updates regarding vehicle status.
Review completed repairs with customers and explain work performed.
Coordinate transportation options including shuttle, loaner vehicles, and pickup & delivery when needed.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and build long-term customer relationships.
Meet productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
Assist with scheduling future maintenance appointments.
Work closely with the service team to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience required.
Automotive service advising experience preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Positive attitude and professional appearance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

A Day in the Life

Every day is different. You'll greet customers as they arrive, learn about their vehicle concerns, and guide them through the repair process from start to finish. You'll communicate with technicians, provide updates, explain repairs in a way customers understand, and ensure each guest leaves feeling confident they received exceptional service.

You'll never be alone—we have a supportive management team, experienced technicians, and proven processes that allow you to succeed. We provide the training and resources necessary for both experienced advisors and those looking to grow into the role.

Work Schedule

Our Service Department is open:

Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.
