Full Job Description

Our busy, multi-location orthodontic practice (Saint Petersburg, Seminole and Palm Harbor) is seeking a reliable, professional, and team-oriented individual. Candidates must be able to travel to all locations as needed, EXCEL IN MARKETING, have excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance, and be able to multitask. Experience and marketing skills are highly preferred.

Requirements

At least 1 year of medical/dental office experience
Travel to 4 offices

Responsibilities and Duties

Greeting patients, answering phones, providing information about the practice and services, and addressing patient inquiries or concerns
Scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, managing appointment changes and cancellations, and optimizing the dentist's schedule
Processing payments, managing insurance claims, handling billing inquiries, and providing financial counseling related to treatment
Managing multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, checking patients in, and scheduling appointments, while maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor
Marketing to dental offices, researching upcoming kids' events to attend, Digital Marketing & Social Media
Qualification and Skills
Dental/Orthodontic knowledge , and more importantly, an understanding of the dental philosophy of the Orthodontist (preferred but not required)
Excellent communication and presentation skills, poise, professional appearance
Organized, systematic and with good follow-through
Positive attitude and enthusiasm
Ability to work well in teams
Be able to multitask (complete tasks on patient and non-patient days)'
