Full Job Description

Job Summary

Endeavor DNA Laboratories is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Casework Specialist to join our Administrative Operations team in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

The Casework Specialist plays an important role in the administrative processing of DNA testing cases. This position is responsible for receiving and reviewing incoming casework, entering case information accurately into company systems, verifying documentation for compliance, maintaining case records, and assisting with sample collection kit preparation and order fulfillment.

This position requires a high level of accuracy and organization. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with detailed documentation, following established procedures, managing multiple priorities, and communicating professionally with customers, resellers, vendors, and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive, review, and process incoming DNA testing casework.

* Accurately enter case and participant information into laboratory management systems.

* Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable case requirements.

* Support the administrative processing of informational, legal, and immigration DNA testing cases.

* Identify missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or noncompliant case documentation.

* Communicate with customers and resellers regarding case deficiencies and work with them to obtain the information or documentation needed to resolve outstanding issues.

* Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case records.

* File and retrieve casework according to established company procedures.

* Prepare and assemble DNA sample collection kits.

* Assist with domestic and international order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping.

* Coordinate with internal departments as needed to support efficient case processing.

* Maintain confidentiality of customer information, case records, and testing-related information.

* Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and established workflows.

* Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED.

* Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, resellers, vendors, and internal team members.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills.

* Ability to review detailed documentation and identify missing or inconsistent information.

* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

* Ability to work independently and complete assignments according to established instructions, procedures, and standards.

* Ability to maintain accuracy and productivity while performing repetitive and detail-intensive tasks.

* Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial but is not required:

* Medical or laboratory administration

* Healthcare records or medical records processing

* Legal document processing

* Immigration case administration

* Order fulfillment or shipping operations

* Quality-controlled or regulated work environments

* High-volume data entry or records management

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position requires the ability to:

* Work in an office and administrative operations environment for the duration of the scheduled workday.

* Read, review, and process electronic and paper documentation.

* Perform computer-based data entry and administrative work for extended periods.

* Communicate clearly in written and spoken English.

* Safely lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
