Full Job Description

Pure Magic Maids is hiring experienced independent contractor residential cleaners for part-time cleaning opportunities in Cedar Park, North Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Leander, Georgetown, and nearby areas.

This is an independent contractor (1099) position, not a W-2 employee position. Cleaners must have their own reliable transportation, basic cleaning supplies, and at least 1 year of hands-on cleaning experience.

We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented cleaners who can assist with:

Recurring residential cleanings
Airbnb turnovers
Deep cleanings
Move-in/Move-out cleanings

Paid training/field trial jobs are required before receiving regular assignments. More jobs become available as we confirm your quality, reliability, communication, checklist compliance, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, and floors
Dust furniture, baseboards, blinds, and detailed surfaces
Vacuum and mop all flooring
Follow the Pure Magic Maids cleaning checklist exactly as trained
Bring your own basic cleaning supplies and equipment
Text when you are on the way, when you arrive, and when the job is complete
Submit completion photos when requested
Report damages, concerns, delays, or issues immediately
Treat every client's home professionally and respectfully

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of professional cleaning experience
Residential cleaning, Airbnb, hotel housekeeping, janitorial, move-out cleaning, or similar experience preferred
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Smartphone with texting capability
Your own basic cleaning supplies and equipment
Willing to complete a background check
Physically able to clean for 2–4+ hours at a steady pace
Detail-oriented and dependable
Able to follow checklists exactly
Strong communication skills

Physical Requirements

This is physically active work.

Applicants should be comfortable:

Standing for extended periods
Bending and reaching
Carrying cleaning supplies
Scrubbing bathrooms and kitchens
Vacuuming and mopping
Climbing stairs when necessary

Pay

Flat-rate contractor pay per cleaning job
Pay varies based on the home's size, condition, service type, scope of work, and experience
Paid training/field trial required before receiving regular assignments
Reliable, high-quality contractors receive priority for recurring work and larger jobs

Schedule

Flexible part-time contractor work
Weekday daytime availability preferred
Some evening and weekend Airbnb, deep cleaning, and move-out opportunities may be available
