Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Business Development Representative or Manager to lead our in-store Business Development operations and drive customer engagement, appointment volume, and sales performance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for customer experience, data-driven decision-making, and team development within a dealership environment. This is a , in where you are driving the traffic personally, and slowly building a team of in-store representatives. Our brand-new facilities in Lenox are taking off, and it is a great time to join!

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead the daily operations of the in-store BD function (Sales and/or Service)
Recruit, train, coach, and motivate BD representatives as necessary
Monitor and improve inbound and outbound lead handling (phone, email, text, chat)
Set performance goals and KPIs for appointment setting, show rates, and conversion
Ensure consistent follow-up processes and CRM compliance
Analyze reports and metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvement
Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Marketing teams to maximize results
Maintain high customer satisfaction and brand standards
Develop scripts, processes, and best practices for continuous improvement

Qualifications

2+ years of automotive business development/BDC experience (management experience is NOT necessary)
Proven success in lead management, appointment setting, and conversion
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Proficiency with automotive CRMs (VinSolutions preferred)
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
Professional phone presence and customer-focused attitude

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in managing both Sales and Service Business Development teams is helpful but not necessary .
Background in digital marketing or lead generation strategies
Prior experience in a highline dealership setting
