Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and proficiency in various accounting software.

Duties

Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and reviews.
Conduct regular reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies or issues that need resolution.
Support month-end closing processes by preparing necessary reports and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices,
This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze financial data effectively

Skills

Ability to perform account reconciliation efficiently.
Excellent 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry.
Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
Automotive Accounting experience is a plus.
