Location: Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Lansford, Weatherly, Albrightsvillle!

Occupational Therapist (OT) Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients’ functional abilities including strength, endurance, coordination, communication skills, and self-care capacity
Assess home environments for safety risks and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable functional goals
Communicate plans of care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Provide therapeutic interventions to restore daily living skills affected by illness or injury
Fabricate splints and train patients in the use of adaptive, prosthetic, and orthotic devices
Perform work capacity evaluations when appropriate
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
Participate in case conferences, care coordination, and discharge planning

Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications:

Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in PA
Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred
Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Current CPR Certification
Ability to work independently in a home health setting
