Full Job Description

Oak Ridge Winery is a family owned and operated winery that strives to be a leader in the wine industry and to work with exceptional people who share our values. We produce many well-known brands from our family vineyards and purchased grapes from the Lodi appellation and beyond.

Job purpose

This part-time position is responsible for providing administrative support to office staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:

Greet visitors/guests in the lobby and direct them to sign in
Answer phones
Update Phone List & Extensions
Billback entry
Review incoming package deliveries and notify recipients of arrival
Contact for copier/printer issues and maintain inventory for toner cartridges winery wide
Commerce 7 entries
Pull bottled wine samples for Winemaking Department and Sales Team
Shipping for Office and Sales Team (Fed Ex)
Backup for Order Processing (First Backup)
Backup for Logistics Clerk – Scale trucks inbound and outbound (First Backup)
Filing for all office staff as needed
Handle the info and wine club email accounts when Tasting Room Lead is gone
Process expense reports for BC
Special administrative projects and assist office staff as needed
Open mail and distribute

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

1 year of administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office support experience preferred. Winery experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Ability to keep accurate records
Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision and use independent judgement regarding work tasks.
Ability to prioritize between several projects at a time, and manage time efficiently
Excellent research and analytical skills to gather appropriate facts
Excellent verbal and written commu7nication skills including the ability to summarize complex material from many sources and communicate it clearly and concisely
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace environment with frequently changing production pressures to meet the demand of.
Microsoft Office proficient, as well as the ability to learn new programs quickly
Attention to detail and timelines for work product
Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English

Working conditions

Working in a constantly changing environment and different levels of management

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
