Full Job Description

General Ledger Accountant / Office Manager

Location: Sheffield Village, OH Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant / Office Manager to support multiple related companies. This position combines accounting, payroll, HR administration, benefits coordination, and office management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

· Maintain general ledger and financial records for multiple entities

· Process accounts payable and oversee accounts receivable activities

· Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

· Manage cash flow and prepare monthly financial reports

· Assist with month-end and year-end closing

· Prepare documentation for CPA and annual 1099 filings

Payroll & Benefits

· Process payroll through ADP Workforce Now

· Maintain employee payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and PTO tracking

· Administer employee benefits and enrollment changes

HR & Office Administration

· Coordinate onboarding and employee record maintenance

· Administer company policies and personnel documentation

· Manage office operations, supplies, equipment, and facility needs

· Coordinate employee access, phones, computers, and IT requests

Insurance & Compliance

· Maintain insurance records and policy renewals

· Coordinate certificates of insurance and related documentation

Qualifications

· 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

· Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience

· Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

· Payroll experience required; ADP Workforce Now preferred

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail

· Experience supporting multiple entities preferred
