Full Job Description

Job description:

We are a busy personal injury law firm. Our Los Angeles/Beverly Hills office is looking to expand our Intake Department and currently hiring with in the team for an Client Intake Professional/ Intake Specialist. This role acts as the first point of contact for our clients and assists attorneys, clients, and other individuals involved in the process with the initial case intake phase. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to use their sales and customer service skills to convert a prospective lead to a client.

We will provide industry-specific training. Please don't hesitate to apply if you don't have prior legal industry experience. We are looking for someone with prior sales/tele-sales experience. You will excel in the role if you have experience in debt resolution, loan modifications, car sales, tax resolution and the like**. Legal Intake experience is a plus.

The role pays a competitive base rate + incentives based on lead conversion.

Responsibilities:

Be the first point of contact over the phone and provide exceptional customer service to potential clients.
Fielding initial calls and forms submission from prospective clients who possibly have been injured in an accident
Confirming with attorneys and making decisions on which claims are viable
Ensuring that viable claims and prospective clients are retained at the office
Engage in all facets of the intake process from initial inquiry to client retention
Work with attorneys and support staff, collect incident information, records from prospective clients and evaluate facts for potential claims
Answer high volume of incoming calls and make outgoing calls to follow up with leads
Organize data in the firm’s case management system with a high level of accuracy
Contact clients frequently via phone and email to obtain missing information
Perform unbiased screening to gather facts and assess the strength and weaknesses of potential cases
Schedule and coordinate execution of the retainer packages with the retainer team
Demonstrate an elevated level of personal integrity, client confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standards
Perform other miscellaneous clerical and/or administrative tasks as needed by the department

Skills and Requirements:

SALES experience is required**.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required.
Minimum 2-3 years of customer service experience. Ability to handle high call volume - incoming and outgoing.
Previous PI, legal or medical office experience is a plus but not required.
Professional phone etiquettes
Previous experience with CRM software such as Salesforce preferred but not required
Tech Savvy is a huge plus.
Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude, eagerness, and ability to learn new processes and technology
Ability to use copier, scanner, fax and computer
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
