Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Line Cook for a full-time AM/PM position to be part of our team in our RíRá Irish Pub & Restaurant in Portland, Maine!

- Starting pay will be discussed at interview

Who You Are
- You have a passion for, and strong knowledge of food and culinary techniques
- You take pride in your position and in the presentation and quality of the food that you provide for service
- You take pride in the cleanliness and sanitation of the station in which you are working, and the kitchen as a whole
- You are a “Team Player”, considerate to the experience of all guests, as well as the experience of your fellow employees
- You are organized and have strong communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task
- You have experience in a high-volume, full-service scratch kitchen

What You Will be Doing
- Preparing high quality, timely food menu items for general service and special / private events to the exact spec provided
- Completing items assigned on prep and portioning lists as outlined by the Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef in preparation for service needs
- Taking initiative to prepare general items (slicing and dicing etc.) for service to restock stations without the need for significant guidance
- Adhering to all Company SOP’s with regards to health & sanitation
- Keeping work-stations clean, organized and inspection ready at all times
- Cleaning and maintaining all small wares and equipment in the kitchen
- Ensuring that set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
- Ensuring that all local and state laws are followed as related to the service of food and the BOH facility in general
