Full Job Description

NH Soccer Operations DirectorPosition Overview

NH Soccer is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to support the daily operations and administration of the New Hampshire Soccer League programs. This role will work closely with league leadership, member clubs, coaches, referees, and volunteers to ensure the successful management and execution of league activities throughout the seasonal year.

The Operations Director will focus on New Hampshire Soccer League administration in the fall and spring, to include scheduling support, event coordination, communication, compliance tracking, and member support while helping maintain a positive and professional soccer environment for all participants. The Operations Director will also be required to assist in running one off events such as summer clinics, indoor leagues or other soccer activities supported by the Executive Board.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeague Administration & Operations

· Assist with the day-to-day administration of NH Soccer league programming.

· Support league registration processes, team placement, and seasonal setup.

· Recruit, engage and oversee the League Operating Committee to maintain a responsive, current and competitive environment.

· Coordinate league schedules, game changes, field updates, and related communications.

· Maintain league records, standings, reports, and operational documentation.

· Assist clubs, coaches, and team managers with league-related questions and support, respond in a timely manner to emails and inquiries.

· Monitor compliance with league policies, roster requirements, and deadlines.

· Coordinate league meetings, seasonal planning calls, and operational communications with clubs and other stakeholders.

· Oversee and coordinate disciplinary tracking, hearings, and administrative follow-up as needed at the league level.

· Administer, set up, staff and physically oversee league playoffs, including clean up.

· File monthly reports for Executive Board meetings, attend all regular monthly meetings of the Executive Board

Event & Program Support

· Assist with the planning and execution of league events, tournaments, clinics, workshops, and State Cup activities.

· Coordinate event logistics including registrations, scheduling support, communication, and staffing assistance.

· Support game-day operations and league event preparation.

· Assist with volunteer coordination and event operational needs.

Member & Club Support

· Provide customer service and operational support to member clubs, coaches, referees, and families.

· Help distribute league information, policies, updates, and educational resources.

· Support individual club communication regarding scheduling, rules, and league procedures.

· Assist with issue resolution and escalation when appropriate.

· Respond to all stakeholder inquiries regarding league operation.

Administrative Support

· Assist with operational reporting and documentation.

· Maintain organized electronic records and league databases.

· Support invoice tracking, payment coordination, and budget-related administrative tasks.

· Participate in league and organizational meetings as assigned.

· Communication

Preferred Qualifications

· Strong organizational and communication skills.

· Experience working within youth sports, soccer organizations, or league administration preferred.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and scheduling/database systems.

· Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers, clubs, referees, and staff.

· Evening and weekend availability during league seasons and events may be required.
