Headquartered in Harrison NY USA, Universal Remote Control (URC) is a global leader in smart home automation and control solutions with distribution throughout the world. URC designs, produces and distributes tabletop controllers, in-wall touch screens, handheld remotes, keypads, and mobile apps – plus voice control integration with Amazon, Alexa, Apple TV, Comcast Xfinity, and Google Assistant using its powerful base stations (processors). URC systems are custom designed, programmed, installed, and maintained by a network of URC trained systems integration professionals (dealers). Its award-winning products, technical support, and training have made URC one of the best choices for home automation for more than 30 years.

We’re looking for an energetic and relationship‑focused Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to help grow and support our dealer network. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships, support dealers in learning and adopting our products, and play a key part in expanding our Total Control (TC) presence in the market.

You’ll manage a set of dealer accounts, re‑engage inactive partners, guide new dealers through onboarding and training, and provide product knowledge that helps them confidently sell and support URC solutions and play a critical role in encouraging inactive dealers to become more active, growing URC partnerships. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, problem‑solving, and driving measurable growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Dealer Growth

Account Ownership & Growth

Manage a portfolio of approximately 50-75 assigned dealer accounts.
Re-engage inactive or low-activity dealers and assist them to become more active in selling URC products.
Maintain relationships with active dealers and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Proactively manage at-risk accounts to reduce churn and improve retention

Sales Execution & Administration

Track all activities, conversations, and opportunities in CRM
Maintain accurate reporting, meeting notes and weekly updates
Work toward defined sales goals tied to new Total Control revenue you generate

What We're Looking For

Comfortable communicating by phone and building relationships quickly. Past experience in inside sales is a plus, but not mandatory.
Organized, self motivated, and able to manage multiple accounts effectively
Willingness to learn technical products and apply that knowledge in sales conversations
Strong follow-through, problem solving skills and attention to detail
Experience in consumer electronics, technology or B2B sales a plus

Compensation/Benefits Package:

Base Salary plus individual commission + Bonus opportunities

(Target On-Target Earnings range from $65,000-$75,000, based on experience)
