Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Catering Supervisor, where you will lead and oversee catering operations at a premier athletic facility. This energetic role involves managing food service activities, supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a key leader, you will coordinate catering events, oversee food preparation and presentation, and ensure smooth daily operations to deliver memorable dining experiences for guests. Your expertise in food management, team leadership, and hospitality will drive success in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise all catering services, including event setup, food presentation, and service delivery to ensure excellence in customer satisfaction.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control protocols.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through efficient food management practices.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy.
Lead staff training initiatives to develop culinary skills, customer service excellence, and operational procedures among team members.
Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring proper coverage during peak times.
Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a skilled and motivated hospitality team.
Monitor food safety compliance and implement best practices for sanitation and hygiene standards across all catering activities.
Analyze profit and loss reports to optimize operational efficiency and support budgeting efforts.
Foster a positive team environment by providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.

Experience

Proven experience in food service management within casual dining or banquet settings; prior stadium, restaurant, or hotel experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated supervising experience with a strong background in managing hospitality teams in fast-paced environments.
Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and inventory tracking.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation.
Background in managing catering operations, including event planning, setup, execution, and breakdown.
Experience with managing budgets, conducting profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost-control measures.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or special event days as needed to support operational demands.
