Full Job Description

Summary/Objective

We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions and work closely with senior HR management in supporting all areas of the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. He/She will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

Essential Functions

Job duties include but not limited to (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions):

Field all traffic in the Human Resources Office.
Answers/Redirect Human Resources calls and distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team.
Respond to internal and external Human Resources related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
Perform a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports, in both paper and the database.
Schedule meetings, interviews, Human Resources events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda.
Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, sales, rooms etc.).
Provides administrative and operational support to all Human Resources staff.
Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
Serve as a liaison for employees in the absence of the Human Resources staff.
Keep management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate.
Assist in Human Resources projects
Filing
Support other functions as assigned

Required Education, Experience and Skills

High school diploma/GED and or Two/ Four year degree from a college or university.
At least one year of work experience in a Human Resources support position
Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Bilingual Spanish
Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and Outlook, in particular)
Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and time management skills

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience with ADP Workforce Now

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, file or lift office supplies up to 30 pounds. The employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Temporary Part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel

No Travel requirement.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
