Full Job Description

Reunion Cocktails and Provisions is seeking a motivated and experienced Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations. This role is responsible for food preparation, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, managing inventory and ordering, and leading line cooks to ensure efficient, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

This is a full-time cooking position with shifts during business hours, 11:30 AM–12 AM.
Lead the kitchen during service to ensure food is prepared and plated according to standards and within ticket times
Train, support, and supervise line cooks; assign stations as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked kitchen throughout service and shift changes
Prepare ingredients including produce, meats, sauces, and dressings according to recipes
Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and proper storage of all supplies
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Promote a safe, positive, and team-oriented work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience required
Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn)

Education & Experience

High school diploma or vocational training in culinary arts **preferred
Prior restaurant or hospitality experience required

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in environments with heat, steam, and cold conditions
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and varied hours
