NEW STORE OPENING Executive Chef & General Manager

Company: H&H Hospitality
Location: Atlanta, GA (Future Openings)
Reports To: Director of Operations / Ownership

Role Overview

H&H Hospitality is seeking an Executive Chef & General Manager to lead upcoming openings of KoHo and Wu-Tang Kitchen. This is a chef-operator leadership role responsible for full store ownership, combining culinary creativity with strong operational execution.

This leader will run the business, build and lead the team, and develop and execute menus that align with each brand’s identity, financial targets, and guest expectations. The ideal candidate is as comfortable on the line and in the P&L as they are coaching teams, building systems, and driving results.

Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Leadership & Menu Development

Lead menu creation, testing, costing, and execution for KoHo and Wu-Tang Kitchen
Ensure menus align with brand identity, speed of service, and profitability goals
Standardize recipes, portions, and plating for consistency and scalability
Oversee food quality, presentation, and kitchen execution daily
Partner with leadership on seasonal features, LTOs, and future menu evolution

General Management & Operations

Own day-to-day restaurant operations, including FOH & BOH performance
Manage labor, scheduling, and staffing to meet financial and service goals
Maintain accountability for food cost, labor %, and operational KPIs
Ensure compliance with health department, airport, and company standards
Lead opening-phase execution including hiring, training, and soft openings

People Leadership & Culture

Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing hourly and management teams
Build a culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, and pride in execution
Coach leaders on performance, guest experience, and operational excellence
Serve as the visible leader on the floor and in the kitchen

Financial & Strategic Ownership

Own store-level performance including sales growth, COGS, labor, and margin
Partner with operations leadership on forecasts, budgets, and growth planning
Leverage systems and reporting tools to drive data-informed decisions
Support future openings, transitions, and brand expansion initiatives

Qualifications

5+ years in a Chef-Operator, Executive Chef, or General Manager role
Proven experience running a restaurant while owning menu development
Strong understanding of restaurant financials and cost controls
Experience opening restaurants or leading major transitions strongly preferred
High energy, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments
Airport or multi-concept experience a plus (but not required)
