Full Job Description

Modern Obgyn is seeking an experienced full-time (5 days), Ultrasound Technician. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for the daily performance of diagnostic ultrasounds and must perform high-quality scans and be able to adequately meet the needs of the practice providers. This rewarding role in our well-respected private practice is available to the ideal candidate.

At Modern Ob/Gyn we are dedicated to providing personal and compassionate care to every patient while ensuring that we provide the most current, up-to-date obstetric and gynecologic care. Our philosophy is that all patients should feel appreciated, listened to, and cared for at every visit, every time. Our talented team works closely to support one another, while upholding high standards for exceptional patient care.

Job duties will include:

Prepare, set up, and operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams;
Provide patient services using imaging modalities
Complete all aspects of patient care documentation in the electronic medical record
Inform providers of completion of exams and pertinent information
Ensure protocols and standards are up to date
Ensure exams are being provided in a consistent and timely manner.
As part of a patient focused practice, promote a supportive and healing environment to enhance customer and staff satisfaction

Required Skills:

OBGYN Ultrasound experience
Needs to be an articulate conversationalist with a positive, upbeat personality
Strong organization skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong computer skills
Ability to multi-task
Accurate data entry
Ability to treat patients and co-workers respectfully
Honesty and integrity

Education Requirements:

Graduate of AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Sonography program
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with abdominal or OB/GYN certification
ARDMS registered

Previous experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is desirable.

The compensation package includes a competitive salary and paid vacation. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
