Graphic Designer (High Volume Canva Expert)

About AutoGrowl

AutoGrowl is an automotive ad agency that serves as the digital marketing agency for car dealerships across the country. We help our clients strengthen their brands, reach more shoppers, and drive measurable results through creative, production, and strategic digital marketing.

The Opportunity

AutoGrowl is looking for a Graphic Design Specialist who combines strong visual design skills with a practical understanding of digital marketing. This person will use Canva to create digital ads, email graphics, website graphics, social media campaigns, presentations, and branded templates for multiple clients.

The right candidate can move comfortably between different automotive brands, follow established company standards, and turn a creative brief into polished work that is both visually engaging and built to perform. You should be organized, receptive to feedback, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven agency environment.

What You’ll Do

Design digital ads, organic and paid social graphics, email campaigns, presentations, and other marketing materials primarily in Canva.
Create flexible, easy-to-use branded templates that help AutoGrowl's team produce consistent content efficiently.
Adapt creative concepts across platforms, placements, sizes, campaigns, and dealership brands.
Maintain each client's visual identity while keeping designs fresh, relevant, and aligned with campaign goals.
Apply strong typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and calls to action to create work that attracts attention and encourages action.
Collaborate with clients and internal team members to understand project goals and translate briefs into effective creative.
Manage multiple assignments, deadlines, revisions, and stakeholder requests without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
Review designs carefully for spelling, pricing, disclaimers, brand compliance, image quality, and correct specifications before delivery.
Organize Canva files, brand kits, templates, and creative assets so they are easy for the broader team to find and use.
Use feedback and campaign insights to improve future creative and develop stronger repeatable design systems.

What We’re Looking For

A portfolio demonstrating strong digital marketing design across formats such as ads, social media, email, presentations, or branded templates.
Advanced Canva skills, including templates, Brand Kits, resizing, asset organization, and team collaboration.
A solid grasp of design fundamentals, including typography, visual hierarchy, composition, color, placement, and brand consistency.
An understanding of how marketing design differs from design created only for visual appeal.
The ability to follow brand guidelines while creating distinct work for several clients at once.
Strong attention to detail, proofreading skills, and a dependable quality-control process.
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-moving environment.
Clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.

Nice to Have

Experience working in an agency, in-house marketing department, or other multi-brand environment.
Experience designing for automotive dealerships or another retail, franchise, or location-based business.
Familiarity with Meta, Google display advertising, email marketing platforms, and common social media specifications.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, short-form video, animation, or Canva's video tools.
Comfort using AI-assisted creative tools thoughtfully while maintaining accuracy, originality, and brand standards.

Creative work is accurate, on time, and ready to use with minimal revision.
Ads and campaigns communicate their message clearly and motivate the intended audience to act.
Internal partners trust you to manage multiple priorities and deliver polished work.
