Customer Materials Analyst

Massillon, OH - Hybrid Schedule

The Customer Materials Analyst supports pricing, material planning, commercialization, and finance-related supply chain activities. This role serves as a key link between suppliers, internal teams, and field operations to ensure accurate system setup, continuity of supply, and effective cross-functional execution.

Your seat at the table:

Pricing Management

Maintain pricing in systems to support accurate purchasing and planning activities
Manage trade agreements, vendor price lists, and pricing updates across relevant stakeholders
Communicate pricing changes to field teams and material planners in a timely manner
Resolve pricing and invoice discrepancies in partnership with Accounts Payable and suppliers

Planning & Vendor Relations

Issue purchase orders to suppliers for materials to deliver to producing plants based on MRP Forecasts
Coordinate vendor setup and onboarding activities to support efficient supplier activation
Escalate material shortages, delayed deliveries, and other supply issues as needed
Manage supplier usage reporting and support external reporting requirements
Handle delivery issues, claims, and freight term coordination with suppliers and internal partners
Maintain vendor terms and agreements in support of procurement operations

Finance Support

Coordinate accrual-related activities with the Planning team
Support obsolescence tracking in partnership with Commercialization and Finance
Identify and communicate cost changes related to freight, supplier pricing, and delivery terms

What you bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Three or more years of experience in procurement, materials planning, or supply chain
Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably D365 and Mapics
Strong Excel, data analysis, and cross-functional communication skills

Preferred:

Experience in CPG or food/beverage industry
Knowledge of BOM management and part lifecycle processes
Experience supporting supplier relationships and procurement operations
