Full Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional to support our office with administrative, bookkeeping, and tax-preparation responsibilities.

- Answer and direct telephone calls, greet clients, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.

- Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate client meetings.

- Prepare, organize, scan, file, and retrieve client records and tax documents.

- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, deposits, and payment tracking.

- Assist with payroll data entry, payroll reporting, and quarterly payroll-tax filings as assigned.

- Gather, organize, and review client tax documents for completeness.

- Communicate with clients regarding missing documents, filing deadlines, and routine tax questions.

- Maintain accurate records of tax returns, extensions, e-file authorizations, and client correspondence.

- Perform other administrative, bookkeeping, and tax-season duties as needed.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in accounting, business, or tax preparation preferred.

- Strong data-entry accuracy and attention to detail.

- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Full-time or part-time position available.

- Additional hours required during tax season.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
