Job Overview
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Dishwasher—an energetic role perfect for passionate food enthusiasts eager to contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment. In this position, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall flow of kitchen operations. Whether you're creating delicious dishes, assisting with menu planning, or ensuring food safety standards are met, your enthusiasm and dedication will help us serve memorable meals every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced food service setting.

Duties

Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance throughout the kitchen
Help with food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling plates
Follow proper knife skills for efficient and safe food preparation
Aid in meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
Contribute to menu planning discussions by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
Ensure all food service activities adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards
Nights and weekends are a must

Experience

Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting demonstrating familiarity with food handling and service procedures
Culinary experience including basic cooking techniques, meal preparation, and kitchen operations preferred
Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices essential for maintaining a safe environment
Skills in menu planning, food presentation, and catering support are advantageous
Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods required for efficient kitchen workflow
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
