Full Job Description

Life's Kitchen is a local non-profit in Boise Idaho dedicated to transforming the lives of young adults by building self-sufficiency and independence through comprehensive food service and life skills training, placement in the foodservice industry, and continuing education.

We are looking for a dynamic Accounting and Payroll Administrator who works closely with the Executive Director on day-to day operations; organizes office and facility operations and procedures, maintains accounting, and provides timely and accurate financial and management reporting.

Responsibilities:

Oversees and processes accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, monthly and quarterly tax reporting, and monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Prepares monthly financials for management.
Maintains fixed asset inventory and reporting.
Prepares and maintains grant spend down reporting.
Ensures systematic retention, protection, retrieval, and disposal of records and sensitive materials.
Retains personnel records and, responsible for employee benefit processes.
Manages Worker's Compensation reporting and follows up on claims.
Maintains information technology, telecommunications systems, and office equipment and supplies.
Manages liability insurance policies.
Oversees fleet maintenance, and repair.

Requirements:

Degree in accounting, or at least three years of relevant experience desired. Minimum 2 years of experience. Non-profit accounting experience is a plus! Must pass a background check, and possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour
