Job Title: Production Associate – Swing Shift
Job Description
This role supports electronic production manufacturing on a swing shift schedule, performing routine tasks such as testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging to help meet customer deadlines. You will receive detailed instructions, work under close supervision, and build your skills in a light industrial environment where quality, accuracy, and a positive attitude are highly valued.
Responsibilities

Support production manufacturing activities to ensure customer deadlines are met.

Perform testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging tasks according to work instructions.

Follow detailed instructions and established policies and procedures for all assignments.

Use hand tools and basic production equipment safely and correctly.

Read and follow blueprints or production documentation as required for electronic assembly tasks.

Meet individual throughput and production goals while maintaining quality standards.

Track and document work using basic computer programs, including production systems and simple Excel-based documentation.

Use email (such as Outlook) to receive instructions and communicate with supervisors or team members.

Handle light industrial/general assembly tasks, including lifting components typically up to 10–15 pounds.

Assemble components to meet specified metrics, such as joining hoses or similar parts by hand.

Alternate between sitting and standing during the shift as needed, while standing for significant portions of the workday.

Monitor your own work to ensure it meets quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Identify and reduce scrap or rework by delivering accurate, high-quality output.

Adapt to changes in work plans, priorities, and direction from leadership.

Participate in improvement initiatives, including 5S and other efforts to enhance productivity, quality, and workplace organization.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in electronic manufacturing, including through-hole or surface mount soldering, is highly desirable.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level. The facility employs approximately 450 permanent employees, creating a sizable yet close-knit production setting. This is a light industrial/general assembly environment where you will handle components typically weighing no more than 10–15 pounds and work with electronic assemblies, hand tools, testing equipment, and production machinery. You will use computer systems for production tracking and documentation, including basic Excel and email tools such as Outlook. The position follows a swing shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with the first week of orientation and training conducted on the day shift. During each 10-hour shift, you may alternate between sitting and standing, but standing will be required for significant portions of the day. The work environment emphasizes safety, organization, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr.
