Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during service hours.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage practices.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals.
Provide support to dietary aides as necessary, fostering teamwork within the culinary department.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role within the food industry.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings is preferred.
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, baking).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during busy service periods.
