We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Regulatory Affairs & Sanitation Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance team and help support our continued growth and compliance excellence.

About the Role

The Regulatory Affairs & Sanitation Coordinator serves as a key member of the Quality Assurance team, responsible for managing regulatory compliance activities and overseeing sanitation programs throughout the manufacturing facility. This role acts as an internal regulatory resource, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, allergen control programs, and sanitation standards while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Affairs

Prepare and maintain regulatory dossiers, submissions, and customer documentation.
Serve as an internal consultant on regulatory requirements and compliance matters.
Coordinate regulatory compliance audits and inspections.
Escort regulatory agencies, auditors, and inspectors during facility visits.
Maintain certifications, permits, registrations, and quality-related documentation in good standing.
Support product development and operational teams with regulatory guidance.
Monitor changing regulations and communicate impacts across departments

Sanitation & Quality Systems

Develop, manage, and monitor the Master Sanitation Schedule.
Create, review, and improve sanitation-related SOPs, policies, checklists, and procedures.
Oversee housekeeping, sanitation, allergen control, drain cleaning, and rack cleaning programs.
Conduct compliance, GMP, and facility integrity inspections.
Perform sanitation concentration checks and verification activities.
Manage sanitation-related vendor relationships and supply procurement.
Assist with training initiatives involving cGMP, HACCP, Food Defense, and allergen awareness.
Support continuous improvement of quality and sanitation systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
Experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of FDA regulations, specifically 21 CFR Part 111 and Part 117.
Experience with cGMP compliance and Quality Management Systems.
Knowledge of sanitation programs and allergen control practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred

5+ years of experience in a cGMP-regulated industry.
Experience developing policies, SOPs, and procedural documentation.
Experience supporting regulatory audits and customer compliance requests.
HACCP, PCQI, SQF, or similar food safety certification is a plus.

Work Environment

Onsite role working in both office and manufacturing environments.
Exposure to manufacturing equipment, sanitation chemicals, noise, and production areas.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
